Dear Christopher,
I was surprised at how much I liked your work, since I'm an old fart and this style is new to me. I'm tired of mainstream Christmas stuff and I found your santa and the german guy very refreshing. The painting with the two birds spoke to me. I probably spent the most time in front of the commander of the troops (forgive me if I don't get the titles right) - I'm fascinated with faces and eyes and was very impressed with the lifelike quality of your alien being.
I hope you continue to create; the world needs artists.

Thanks! Ah I'm sorry to hear that, but when they happen I would guess it is extra memorable. I've been without them for about a week myself. Very overcast here.

Beautiful illustration and yes those two times of the day must be my favourite ;) although they don't happen too often here in England ;)!

Thank you! Yes the skull is understated for just that reason. I looked up the symbol and it seems to have been used all over the world. Interesting. I guess you don't see it too much these days. The threat of nuclear war is now replaced by the threat of 'terrorism'.

I like the ethereal underwater look - the skull didn't register initially which I think was a good thing, I was caught up admiring the painterly technique.

I was surprised at the anti nuclear sign - that exact design (in english) was around 35 years ago when I was active in the movement.

Thank you I really appreciate it! I've been working on and off this week with an actual small knot carving which is going a bit less smoothly, so I'm happy i can at least pull it off in a painting.

Thanks very much! I was in Norway this past weekend, and was able to view some Viking carvings from c. 800 AD up close. Its been a bit of an obsession since then.
